Cocktail Recipe | Gin & Campari Sour
Personal pick for Easter Sunday, the Gin & Campari Sour is a very easy-to-make cocktail that not only is beautiful but also balances perfectly with all the sweet and savory indulgences of the weekend.
Part of the Sour family of Cocktails, the Gin & Campari Sour is geared toward 3 simple type of ingredients (Liquor, Citrus and Sweetener) and therefore pretty easy to make and to remember.
The egg white (optional in many Sour drinks but pretty much mandatory on Easter Sunday) is a great add-on to the drink and gives it both a unique texture and a splendid look.
When it comes to the addition of Campari to the classic Gin Sour, it definitely provides an interesting additional layer of herbal and bitter notes as well as a beautiful pink hue to the cocktail. Simply perfect.
